Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks in NYC

2008 7/4 Independence Day...

In the United States, Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July or the Fourth, is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. 뉴욕에선 인디펜던스데이에 매년 메이시스에서 주관하는 불꽃놀이를 한다..

장소는 이스트 리버.맨하탄과 브루클린  퀸즈 사이를 흐르는 강에서.

그리고 자유의 여신상 너머 뉴저지에서도 불꽃놀이가 있다.

불꽃놀이 하는 시간은 길지않지만...약 25분정도

이만한 큰 도시에서 이런 장면을 보는게 흔하지 않기때문에.

루즈벨트 아일랜드에서 찍은 사진들..

루즈벨트아일랜드 쪽에서 불꽃놀이 보기는 별로 좋지 않았다..

사진은 잘나왔지만.....카메라의 힘이고..

거리가 쫌 멀었다....날씨도 비가 부슬부슬오고...

부르클린브릿지나 맨하탄 브릿지 쪽에서 보는편이 더 멋질듯....

아니면 사진처럼 요트하나 뛰어놓고 보던가.........^^;;;;;;;;;;;
